What is our main concern in our lives? Is it our jobs, is it human respect, is it material possessions? Everyone of us have our own attachments, weaknesses and sins, and if we want to grow in the Lord, we need to be clear about what our ultimate value is, what is it that we value most in life? The Lord desires it to be him. We do not know what our lives are like, we do not know what our value truly is unless we let Christ look at us, for his gaze to fall upon us, only then are we truly free, to know what our value is. Do we know how the Lord looks at us? We can only be truly happy or free if we give him the place he deserves in our lives, and not believe the lies that come up in our lives that are told about us, or the lies that we tell ourselves. What does the Lord say to us, about ourselves? He said that we have intrinsic value, that we are worth dying for, not just by saying these words, but by laying down his life, through action.
